In the Field: Naven Adrastia and Naito Hisakata's get to know

Naito walked around the field, looking for something. In her hand was a can of cat food. She had a smile on her face as well, giving the impression she was excited for something.

'What purpose is this?' asked Iris.

'That sweet campus cat needs feeding. He's nice...and i like to feed him.' Naito answered.

'If you like that animal so much, why not adopt it?'

'Kai's just going to go against it.' Naito concluded. 'Now come on, i want to find that cat....'

looking around a bit more, her eyes spotted the tabby cat, skinny as can be in one corner of the field. She approached it and slowly put down the opened can of cat food. "Hey there kitty...i got you your favorite again." she called out and the cat looked at her and at the food. Slowly, it made its way towards her and began to eat. Naito happily watched as she gently petted the animal.

It was a perfect day for taking a stroll around the school. Naven always loved walking around the campus it makes her appreciate the beauty of everything about the school. While walking in the field, she heard a cat meowing not far from where she was standing. "Oh, a cat! Let's see if I can find it." she said happily. Tracing where the sound was coming from, Naven found a cat - a rather skinny one - being fed by Naito. Naven saw that her friend was sharing a quiet moment with the animal, she didn't want to ruin the moment, so she decided to quietly approach her friend from behind.

Getting near enough Naito without being noticed, Naven crouched beside her friend and said in a gentle voice, "That's really nice of you Naito." smiled Naven.

Naito was a bit startled, but realized it was Naven who spoke. She smiled at her. "Thanks...Adrastia-san." she said. When did Naven get here?

"Uhm...this cat lives here in the university. I don't know for how long, but...uhm...well.. she'd been here since i arrived a year ago." she answered as she went back to watching the cat. "It doesn't have a name...it doesn't respond to any name the other students gave it...but it always seems to approach me when i call her kitty." Not to brag, but Naito was the only one the cat ever approaches in the university.

Listening to Naito made Naven more interested to learn more about her. "That's quite interesting, I guess I can call you Cat Whisperer now!" "Hmmm, she seems to be an natural animal lover, that's nice, she sure has a big heart" "You know Naito, I may be not a big fan of cats, but seeing you here caring so much for this animal reminds me of the times I spent with my one and only dog. I sure miss that critter, spent most of my early childhood days with her. Beautiful animal, a white, fat and bunchy japanese spitz. She died at the age of fifteen. Pretty ancient for a dog if you ask me." Naito went silent, reminiscing all of the good times she spent with her dog, eyes still locked on the cat that Naito was feeding. "AH! I'm sorry, didn't mean to be so melodramatic about it!" said Naven while laughing waving her hand.

"Cat whisperer?" Naito chuckled at the name. "Whatever pleases you, Adrastia-san." she added politely. It did sound cute.

and Naven went on about her pet dog whom died. The girl started to apologize about her being melodramatic. "N-No! it's all right. It's nice to listen and know about your pet....you must have really missed her so much..." Naito said. "I never had a pet before...so I don't know what it's like...but kitty here is sort of like my on-campus pet, so that maybe why I understand you and your worries in a way.If she disappeared I..." A bit of sadness replaced her eyes, but then she shrugged it off and smiled. "I'm sorry...I was being melodramatic as well. Way to kill a mood." she laughed and then stood and allowed the cat to brush itself and purr in her leg.

"Thanks for understanding Kitty." She said and then turned to Naven. "well then, Adrastia-san, would you like to hang out?" she asked.

At the sound of Naito's offer, Naven's eyes sparkled with glee. "YES! LET'S!!! Where do you want to go? A ramen shop? An ice cream parlor? Whatever your fancy, I'm good with that! Being half French, I eat anything that moves! Well, not really, but you get the point!" Laughed Naven. "Well if you're not hungry, we can also go someplace else, anywhwere where we'll have fun."
